We discovered La Casadéenne by chance, during a stay in our holiday home in Thilouze, very close to Artannes. Since this first visit, we have returned there, almost once a week, during our visits to Touraine. Under the humble appearance of a working-class menu for 17 Euros, Michel lets you discover the talents of a cook worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. In more than 100 visits, I have never been disappointed by the daily menu (with the exception of a beef tongue, not to my tastes). The beef Bourguignon cooked by Michel is the best I have ever had the opportunity to taste. What's simpler than a poached egg? Served as a starter, it is a work of art with a sumptuous taste. We sold our dear house in Touraine. Among our best memories we count Natalie's warm welcome, and Michel's miraculous cooking.
